The Education Support Partnership is a charity. Their free helpline, staffed by trained counsellors, is available to all teachers, lecturers and staff in education (primary, secondary, further or higher education) in England, Wales and Scotland 24/7, 365 days a year. Grants are also available for staff who are facing financial hardship.

Papyrus exists to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives by shattering the stigma around suicide and equipping young people with the skills to recognise and respond to suicidal behavior. If you’re feeling suicidal or are worried about another young person Papyrus has a 24/7 Hopeline to help provide support, you can call them and their trained team on 0800 068 41 41.

Childline have a brilliant website with resources for children including bullying, body image, feelings, home life and school. They also operate an online chat and mobile helpline for children to use at any time. Children can create their own safe place called a ‘locker’ and have confidential chats with friendly counselors online. This also provides a safe place for children to contact other children who’re experiencing the same issues using their boards feature. Childline’s 24/7 helpline is 0800 1111.
YoungMinds
YoungMinds operate a text service for those in crisis. Text the YoungMinds Crisis Messenger, for free 24/7 support across the UK if you are experiencing a mental health crisis. If you need urgent help text YM to 85258, all texts are answered by trained volunteers, with support from experienced clinical supervisors. Texts are free from EE, O2, Vodafone, 3, Virgin Mobile, BT Mobile, GiffGaff, Tesco Mobile and Telecom Plus.
